There for parents when they need us most, because childhood can't wait

Tiny Talkers

Following your child’s 27-30 month development review, if they need any additional support with their Speech and Language you will offered a referral to our Tiny Talkers programme by the professional that carried out the review.

Tiny talkers is a 5 week programme that has been developed to support your child’s language development.  The course has been developed by a Speech and Language therapist so as well as some great activities that will be offered during the groups, you will also receive some helpful resources to use at home too!

The 5 week course is broken down into 2 parts.  The first week is an information workshop for parents/carers to attend.  This session is delivered by a Speech and Language therapist who will share some core information about how children acquire language, followed by an overview of the programme.

The next 4 weeks are groups sessions which will offer fun activities to support speech and language development.  The groups are small, with a maximum of 6 children attending.  Each week has a different theme to keep it fun and engaging for your child.

Parents/carers are encouraged to support their child to engage with the various activities/games and at the end of each session, you will be provided with a range of resources and strategies to use at home.

The courses are run across 5 locations covering the Medway area to make it easy for you to attend.

If you would like to know anything else about the programme, please feel free to give us a call on 01634 570717
